DuPont Building Innovations and Power Matters Alliance are teaming up to deliver a wireless charging countertop for your devices. So charging your phone can be as easy as tossing it on your kitchen counter.

Power Matters Alliance, a company focused on wireless charging solutions, hopes to globalize wireless power starting with the heart of the home: the kitchen.

This technology is still undergoing research, but the plan is to implement wireless charging capability in DuPont Corian solid surfaces, a line of modern countertops. Corian solid surfaces are stain resistant, nonporous and designed for health conscious environments like the bathroom and the kitchen.
